Commercial Gaming Lounges

Gaming Lounges and Centers " are becoming more popular across America, as today's increasingly hostile environment encourages parents to seek out exciting activities for their children locally, and young and older adults seek out the hottest new and classic old arcade games to play.

A "standard-sized" Gaming lounge range in size from 1,000 to 10,000 sq ft, a typical hotel or casino based Gaming Entertainment Center starts at around 10,000 sq ft (indoor facility) and up to a multi-acre, multi-million dollar indoor/outdoor facility.

Most small arcades can be planned and launched within 4-6 weeks or less, while launching a large game lounge requires more planning time, and usually takes from 2 to 6 months or more to properly prepare and execute a facility plan.
The knowledge and assistance of of our gaming lounge designers and planners will help you to select the correct mix of game platforms, Audio Visual needs, interior design features as well as the build out. Making this project a simple process.

Planning a large gaming lounge is usually not a small task. There are many things to consider "budget", "floor planning", "game mix", which will be dependent on both the local demographics of your market, your marketing plan and the type of facility you want to create, with the game mix primarily being determined on the age range you are planning to market to i.e. small arcade for teenagers, a facility catering to children and their parents, or perhaps a "Dave & Buster's/Jillians" scenario catering to young and middle aged adults with alcohol and food being served, or something completely different?

Sessions Game Room Builders experts are ready to assist you with these steps and more in starting your new game room lounge.

Points You Should Consider

Space
Be sure that your game room has the needed height for larger-sized screens and games. Most rooms do, but it is always a good idea to check first.

Electricity
99% of our games use the standard three-prong 110V household electrical socket. Make sure you have enough sockets and that you use a top quality surge protector on all your games to prevent electrical damage from lightening strikes, brownouts and electrical surges. And for game rooms with more than 10 set-ups, a second electrical circuit may need to be installed

Temperature
It is best to ensure that the constant temperature in the game room does not normally fall below 50° nor rise above 90° on a consistent basis. Extreme cold or heat over an extended period can be harmful to your equipment.
